Meet Dr. Van Tang

Dr. Van Tang is a board-certified pediatric dentist who brings both professional expertise and personal passion to every visit. Born and raised in Vietnam before moving to the U.S., Dr. Tang remembers what it was like to be a fearful child in the dental chair. That powerful experience, combined with the compassion of a wonderful dentist during her own dental emergency, inspired her to pursue pediatric dentistry. Her goal? To help kids feel safe, seen, and excited about their smile.

Dr. Tang completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Houston, majoring in Biology with a minor in Public Health. She earned her dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and completed a general practice residency at UNLV. She then pursued advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She’s an active member of the AAPD, CSPD, ADA, CDA, and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Tang particularly enjoys helping children regain confidence through aesthetic options like zirconia crowns—available for both front and back teeth. We also offer in-office general anesthesia to make more complex treatments easier on families, with less stress and more convenience.
